Creating a Purchase Request
- Select the Work order and phase materials should be applied to


- On the phase choose Purchase Request from the left side panel.
o You do not need to press Edit on the phase prior to selecting Purchase request. In fact, it’ll disappear when you select Edit.

- Enter your shop name, and who to Deliver to at a minimum in the Purchase Request Description box.
o The work order and phase information are already populated.
o Populate the Date Needed.
§ Remember, this goes through a couple approval steps. Please be mindful of this and consider a timing delay.
o The Request By person should be the person entering the Purchase Request.
§ Enter their UFID
o The Deliver To person doesn’t need to be filled out.
o For CRR Projects, delete your UFID from the Requested by and Deliver To fields. They are not required. Put that information in the Description box instead.
- Select “Add” next to Line Items.
o Select “ADD STOCK PART BY WAREHOUSE”
o Select “Next”

- Enter your part description
o Choose your warehouse
§ Should always be CS or HSC
o Select the Magnifying Glass for Part.
§ If you know the part number, enter it.
§ Otherwise, enter a key word in the Description field and press Execute.
· In this case, it must match identically. If you’re looking for a light bulb, and it’s in the warehouse as “lamp”, it will not populate in your search.
§ 
§ Execute returns all the results based on your search criteria.
§ Select the part number needed based on full description.
o Enter the Quantity needed of that particular part.

- From here, either select “Done” to finish your purchase request or select “Add” to add more parts.

- Then Save.
- This Purchase Request in “Open” Status will show up in your Approver’s query for review and approval, which will send the request to Central Stores for Processing.
