Warehouse Attractive Conversions

This new tool, available exclusively to users with the WH_ADMIN role, helps convert W-numbers to Attractive assets (with preprinted decals). This ensures required attractive property leaving the warehouse gets appropriately added to the receiving department's inventory. 

1. Start by identifying the item on a Pending Transfer's Edit Transfer window, and click the "Re-Tag as Attractive" button: 
   

   

   
   
2. Enter the ATP number for the pre-printed decal that will replace the W-number:
   

   

   
   
3. Click to retag it, and myAssets will complete the following steps automatically for you:
   1. Terminate the W number from the warehouse with a new status "Converted to Attractive" and a note containing the new attractive tagnumber (ATP)
   2. Create a new inactive, attractive asset with the provided ATP decal number
   3. Duplicate the warehouse history from the W-number to the new ATP number.
   4. Replace the W-number with the ATP number on the following:
      1. original surplus request
      2. any open or closed lots
      3. any open or closed holds
      4. any media disposals
      5. any photos tied to the W-number
