Install myInventory

This article walks you through the steps to install the myInventory iOS App from myAssets. A myAssets user must login to access the download, but they are allowed to install myInventory on an iOS device for use by anyone with a UFID.

System Requirements

myInventory requires an Apple device running iOS 11.3 or later. The following devices are currently compatible: 

iPhone 

  • iPhone 5s
  • iPhone 6 - 15 (including X, XR, XS)
  • iPhone SE (1st - 3rd generation) 

iPad

  • iPad (5th+ generation)
  • iPad Mini (2nd+ generation)
  • iPad Air (all models)
  • iPad Pro (all models)

iPod touch

  • iPod touch (6th+ generation)

Download and Install

1. Navigate to https://myassets.fa.ufl.edu/ext to login to the myAssets Portal on the Apple device.
2. Click the purple icon to "Download myInventory" (this may be unavailable if you haven't yet completed the mandatory training yet):

3. Before launching myInventory, open the Settings app and navigate to General > Device Management (or Profiles & Device Management or VPN & Device Management):

4. Select "University of Florida" and tap Trust "University of Florida:

5. Now open myInventory from your home screen: image.png
